“ I love shopping at Lidl, always great deals to be had.bonus points for a beautiful bakery section right as you enter the store. They always keep it clean and the staff have always been very helpful. I also love that they have self service checkout, as I usually have less than a dozen items when I'm done. The only drawbacks I would say is that there seems to be lots of downtime with some of the refrigerated and frozen sections (frozen food doors don't always get closed all the way), and that the merchandise in the middle sections can sometimes get very well mixed up (especially any clothing). ”

“ The store is always nice and clean, sometimes produce isn't rotated well- I saw a lot of moldy berries this past trip. The employees are helpful and checkout is quick! The international foods selection is always great and I love the other items in here that change weekly. I have found some nice puzzles in here. This week, we made curry with this curry paste I found! Prices won't hurt your wallet as much as other grocery stores ”

I've reached out to ask to carry a product and both times they actually stocked it! People are always nice, they are maybe a little short staffed because everyone is definitely busy but always take the time to help someone. ”

“ This is my go to store for steaks and meats. And they also offer a unique bakery area where you can find items you do not see at most grocery chains .but remember this is a no frills store where you bring your own bags or boxes or purchase them for a nominal fee. ”

“ Lidl in North Charleston opened recently. Reasonable prices. The scent from the bakery at the entrance is so alluring. Good selections of meats and cheeses for a decent charcuterie board. You won't find many well known brands, but still good selections And don't forget to take your own bags! ”

“ I shop with Aldi all the time and saw the Lidl came to town and thought I It was great. It's similar to an Aldi but with more stuff and a bakery. Very well organized and shelves are well stacked. Ample parking space. Sadly it was a little out of my way of not I will shop here more. There are also not on Instacart for delivery. They have their own app that you get to receive point and get a discount for the first time. ”

“ Lidl's is like a box of chocolates, ya' never know what you ate going to get. I know that sounds strange for a grocery store but their center isle is the box of chocolates. I found the cutest sweater for my dog. Under $5.00 too. There prices are great but you really do not ever know what they are going to have ”

“ Lidl is a fun grocery store with lots of unique and international finds. It's a German grocery store chain, and with it being the holiday season, German chocolate was a big feature. Most products are the Lidl house brand, but you can occasionally find name brands. The store's layout is a bit confusing, as the produce is at the entrance of the store along with a small bakery, then a meat section. The dairy and frozen areas are at the back of the store. Finding items felt like walking through a maze. Like Aldi, Lidl has "Aisles of Shame" of interesting seasonal buys. On my visit, I saw everything from Ugly Christmas Sweaters and children's holiday pajamas to harmonicas and whiskey glasses. I wouldn't come here to buy all my groceries or specific items, but it's fun to stop in and just look around. You'll never know what you'll find, that you didn't know you needed until you came to Lidl. ”

“ Great store! It's also in a great location in Goose Creek. I am hoping they'll open up more stores through the Charleston metro area. You'll find everything from spices, home goods to baked goods! The bread slicing machine is the best. You get to slice the bread whichever way you want: thin cut, average or thick. I love that they have a big variety of breads everything from sourdough to the everything bread. It's baked fresh multiple times a day! The store is big, it's clean. The staff is super friendly and everywhere you turn there is someone to help you out. Like Aldis you need to bring your own bag to bag your groceries or you can purchase a bag from them (brown bags) for .10 cents. You can always reuse the brown bags on your next trip and save the money. I promise you once you come to this store you'll continue to come. ”
